What it costs in Australia

Rostavo is for the Australian agency running a small office: nannies, in home carers, cleaners, pet sitters or household staff placed into private homes. You pay for the seats in the office and everyone on your books is free, which is the right shape when your worker list moves weekly and your office does not.

Per office seat, per month

In Australian dollars

$149.00

Your first seat

$75.00

Each further seat

A one-person office pays $149.00 a month. Two of you, $224.00. Everyone you place, every family and every login they use is free. Pay for the year and you pay for 10 months out of 12.

Billed in Australian dollars. A 14 day trial, no card. Prices exclude sales tax or VAT where it applies. Full pricing.

What is different in Australia

Not a different product with a flag on it. These are the things that genuinely differ once your agency is in Australia.

Police checks and WWCC, watched by state

A Working With Children Check is a different document in every state and renews on its own clock. Each one goes on the worker's record with its own expiry, the team screen shows what is lapsing, and the alert goes out before it does.

Priced and billed in Australian dollars

Your first office seat, then each further one, in AUD. Workers, families and all their logins are free and unlimited, and paying yearly costs ten months rather than twelve.

Your own rate rules, applied automatically

Loadings by time of day, weekend, public holiday, experience, location and number of children are each switchable and each set by you. Rostavo applies the rules you give it to every booking and every invoice, so the figure the family disputes is the figure you can evidence.

Timezone set per account

Times are stored in UTC and shown in your agency's timezone, so a 7am visit reads as 7am whichever state you run it from and whatever the server is doing.

What Rostavo does not do in Australia

Every vendor will tell you what their software does. This is the part you normally have to find out in week three.

We do not interpret modern awards

Rostavo has no award library and does not know what SCHADS says. It applies the loadings you configure. If you want software that tells you what to pay, this is not it, and anything that claims to should be asked who carries the risk when it is wrong.

We do not run your payroll

No Single Touch Payroll, no superannuation, no PAYG withholding. The hours come out as a file with clocked and scheduled hours separated, and go to whatever you use today.

We are not an NDIS or aged care claiming system

There is no NDIS price guide, no claims file and no provider portal integration. Rostavo is built for private-pay agencies. If government funded claiming is the core of your business, buy something built around it.

Your data is in Frankfurt, and you will feel the distance

The servers are in Germany. Pages load noticeably slower from Australia than from Europe, which matters most to whoever is in the system all day. It is honest to say so, and worth testing on the free trial before you commit.

The agencies this is built for

One system, and it uses the words of whichever of these you run rather than calling everybody a worker.

Questions from Australia agencies

Does it calculate award rates?

No. It applies the rate rules you set up, including weekend, public holiday and time of day loadings, to every booking and invoice consistently. It does not hold an award library and does not tell you what the award requires. Interpreting the award stays with you or your adviser.

Can it track Working With Children Checks?

Yes. Each worker carries their own documents with their own expiry dates, which handles the fact that a WWCC is a different thing in every state and renews on its own schedule. You are alerted in advance, and the screen shows the whole team at once.

Does it work for NDIS providers?

Not for the claiming side. There is no price guide, no claims file and no portal integration. The rostering, worker records, check expiry, visit records and invoicing all work, but if your revenue comes through NDIS claiming you want a product built around it.

Will it be slow from Australia?

Slower than it is from Europe, because the servers are in Frankfurt. It is usable and the free trial costs nothing, so test it on a real day with your own data before you decide. We would rather you found out that way than take our word for it.

Somewhere else?

Same product, same price list, different things worth saying. If one of these is you, start there instead.

Have tomorrow go like that.

Set your agency up this afternoon. It costs nothing to see whether it suits you.
