What is different in Canada
Not a different product with a flag on it. These are the things that genuinely differ once your agency is in Canada.
Priced and billed in Canadian dollars
Your first office seat, then each further one, in CAD rather than a US price converted at whatever today's rate happens to be. Caregivers, families and their logins are free and unlimited.
Checks recorded and chased
Criminal record checks, vulnerable sector checks, first aid, driving licences and anything else you require go on the person's record with their dates, and you are told before they lapse rather than after.
Province set per account
Country, currency, locale and timezone belong to your agency, so dates read the way you write them and a booking at 09:00 is 09:00 where the work is happening, not where the server is.
QuickBooks and Xero exports
Date bounded files your bookkeeper can open, with drafts excluded, plus a payroll file that separates clocked hours from scheduled hours so what is evidenced is visible.
What Rostavo does not do in Canada
Every vendor will tell you what their software does. This is the part you normally have to find out in week three.
The interface is English only
There is no French version, and we are not going to imply that one is coming. If you operate in Quebec and need French for your staff or your families, Rostavo is not the right product for you today. That is worth knowing in the first minute rather than the first month.
We do not run your payroll
No CRA remittances, no T4s, no provincial variations. You get the hours out as a file and run payroll where you run it now.
We do not order background checks here
Our check integration is a US provider. In Canada you run checks the way you run them today and record the result, with its date, for Rostavo to watch.
Your data is held in Frankfurt, Germany
Not in Canada. For most private-pay agencies that changes nothing, but it is a fact about where your records live and you should have it before you move them, not after.

Questions from Canada agencies
Is there a French version?
No. The interface is English only and there is no French translation planned that we are willing to promise you. If your staff or your families need French, this is not the right product for you yet.
Am I charged in Canadian dollars?
Yes. CAD is a currency we price in directly rather than converting a US figure, and your agency is billed in it. The exact amounts are on the pricing page.
Can it handle caregivers across more than one province?
It will hold them, schedule them and keep their documents and expiry dates wherever they are. What it will not do is tell you what each province requires. The required list is yours to set, and Rostavo enforces the list you give it.
Where is my data stored?
Frankfurt, Germany, on servers we run. The published data processing agreement names every sub-processor and the security page sets out what is and is not certified.
